{"id":1182,"date":"2013-07-15T04:26:26","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T04:26:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stjohn.openbar.com\/airplane\/?p=1182"},"modified":"2013-07-15T04:26:26","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T04:26:26","slug":"crotch-strap-bracket-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjohn.openbar.com\/airplane\/?p=1182","title":{"rendered":"Crotch Strap Bracket part 2."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>5 hours.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d been avoiding it, but today I worked on the right seat crotch strap bracket. \u00a0 I did the left one before the airport move, and I really should have done this one at home too, but I had bigger fish to fry at the time. \u00a0 Today I got the bracket drilled and deburred, and got 3 out of 4 platenuts on, but one will have to come off so I can enlarge the hole. \u00a0Slight misalignment, and \u00a0fixable.<\/p>\n<p>I just have to fix that and pop-rivet it in. \u00a0 This side was easier to deal with because there wasn&#8217;t a trim relay board in the way, although I did have to cut down the aft part to clear a wiring conduit.<\/p>\n<p>I really wish these had been included in the kit, and I&#8217;d installed them before I wired everything. \u00a0 C&#8217;est la vie. \u00a0Wot&#8217; ever.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>5 hours.
