{"id":740,"date":"2011-12-21T02:18:22","date_gmt":"2011-12-21T02:18:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stjohn.openbar.com\/airplane\/?p=740"},"modified":"2011-12-21T02:18:22","modified_gmt":"2011-12-21T02:18:22","slug":"rdac-and-emergency-batt-switch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjohn.openbar.com\/airplane\/?p=740","title":{"rendered":"RDAC and Emergency Batt switch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>3 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Just got back from a 2-week work trip, so I needed a little downtime. \u00a0 Today I got back into it and wired in the EFIS backup battery switch. \u00a0This was wired before, but it was crap, so I redid it. \u00a0 I also wired the RDAC ground to the engine block, like it says to in the manual. \u00a0 Apparently wiring it to the secured supply on the EFIS is not correct. \u00a0 I also got started on wiring the music input. \u00a0 Took me a second (and the brave sacrifice of a 1\/8&#8243; splitter) to figure out which was Tip\/Ring\/Sleeve, but all that remains there is to drill a hole in the panel, solder the wires on, and snap it in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3 hours.
